The small settlement of Duće, which is in close vicinity of Omiš and the mouth of the beautiful Cetina river, owes its uniqueness to the Mediterranean atmosphere that is mixed with intoxicating scents that the river brings from the hinterland. The rich history of this area is intertwined with modern tourist facilities that guarantee a relaxing vacation in modern apartments, villas with swimming pools and holiday homes. Beautiful beaches, numerous cafes and summer terraces offer entertainment for all ages. For peace, summer refreshment and magnificent views, check out the foot of the mountain Mošnica and visit the villages of Zeljoviće and Stare Jesenice. While exploring the surrounding areas, make sure to stop at one of the many family-run farms that offer excellent traditional dishes, as well as homemade brandies, wines and olive oils. If you decide to go hiking, with a little luck, you may encounter a mouflon, chamois or one of the many endemic plants that grow there.
