Sisak and its surroundings are a paradise for fishermen. The Kupa and Odra are excellent for swimming in the summer months. The same is true of the river Lonja , alongside which is located the Lojnsko Polje nature park with the biggest protected reserve for endangered marshland birds, otters, beavers and wild cats. Here is also the village of Čigoč, the European village of the stork, with its preserved traditional architecture of wooden houses and developed agro-tourism.
