Isola di Koločep, Isole Elafiti

The Dubrovnik archipelago, i.e. the Elaphites, consists of fourteen islands, of which only Koločep, Lopud and Šipan are inhabited. The islands have been inhabited since the time of the ancient Illyrians and flourished in the 15th and 16th centuries during Dubrovnik’s golden age. The first written documents about these islands date back to the 1st century, when Pliny the Elder mentioned them in his book Naturalis Historia. Koločep is perfect for those seeking a peaceful holiday and the enjoyment of secluded beaches and quiet evenings with the scent of the sea.
