Jadrtovac, Šibenik Riviera

Jadrtovac is located in the large bay of Morinje, 10 kilometers south of Šibenik. This small village has had a long and turbulent history whose traces and marks can be witnessed in the remains of the early Christian church, the Baroque altar, the 16th-century tower and Renaissance castles. The northern part of the bay is known for healing mud and its healing properties of which many domestic and foreign visitors have already been convinced. Freshwater mixes with sea water in the bay of Morinje, thereby naturally creating perfect conditions for shellfish farming. There is also a famous fish hatchery, so if you visit Jadrtovac, try the irresistible traditional Dalmatian specialties that include fresh fish and shellfish with homemade olive oil and organically grown vegetables.
