The island of Premuda, Zadar archipelago

West of Silba lies the island of Premuda with only one settlement of the same name on it. The island has two ports, the main one in Krijal bay and an auxiliary ferry pier in Loza bay with the village Premuda in-between them. The island is adorned with many natural bays and covered with dense undergrowth. In recent times, the cultivation of olive trees has become more and more popular. Premuda is not only an attractive nautical, but also a diving destination, given the fact that the surrounding waters hide several extremely interesting diving spots, such as the “Cathedral”, which is a system of caves, and the underwater site of the wreck „Szent Istvan“. Premuda can be reached by the daily ferry arriving from Zadar and Mali Lošinj. Guests are offered accommodation in private holiday houses and apartments.
