The island of Škarda, Zadar Archipelago

Škarda is an uninhabited island located between Premuda and Ist with a surface area of only 3.78 km2. There are only 16 houses on the island and its last inhabitant left it in the last decade of the 20th century. However, life returns every summer to this beautiful place. As the underwater world around Škarda abounds in marine flora and fauna, divers and recreational fishermen will find here a peace of paradise for themselves.
