Bibinje is a small seaside tourist resort that is almost connected to the city of Zadar. Village Bibinje has been writing its history since ancient times. Its name derives from the Roman patrician Vibius, who owned property in the area of ​​Bibinje. The history of the place is best witnessed by the many preserved churches: the Church of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist in the old village, Church of St. Roch, Church of the Martyrdom of St. John the Baptist on the cape called Punta, Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
