Orebić, Pelješac peninsula

At the foot of St. Elias, the highest peak of the Pelješac peninsula, is the small coastal town Orebić that offers a magnificent panoramic view over the Pelješac Channel and island Korčula, which is only a 15-minute boat ride away. Orebić is a town of brave sailors and sea captains who sailed the world's seas. Upon their return to their native town, they built lush gardens in honor of their wives. Explore the captains’ homes with their flower gardens and discover some interesting love stories of Orebić, relax with premium wines of the Pelješac region and enjoy the sun on the sandy beaches. The friendly hosts have opened the doors of their homes to all visitors, so you can find comfortable accommodation in apartments and holiday homes.

Close to Orebić is a paradise for diving lovers, i.e. the small town Mokalo where, at a depth of 15 meters, the 106-meter-long boat "Boka" ran aground. The wreck can be explored under the guidance of the local diving center. In nearby Stankovići you can find a break from the summer bustle and enjoy peaceful forest trails by riding local horses. These ingredients are just perfect for an irresistible vacation!
