Kula Norinska, The valley of Neretva

Kula Norinska is a small village near Metković, recognizable by the fortress of the same name that was built in the 16th century at the time of the Ottoman invasion. The picturesque fortress that often changed its owners is located next to the Neretva river and opposite the mouth of the tributary Norin. Near the tower is another interesting medieval fortress named Vratar from the late 14th century. It is located on the hill Gradina next to the road that connects Metković and Vrgorac.
