Punta Križa, island Cres

Punta Križa is a village located in the south of island Cres. The southernmost part of this island is an oasis of unspoilt nature, lush vegetation of pine forests and macchia, aromatic plants and flowering meadows that blend with white beaches and turquoise blue sea. On the way to Punta Križa you can see abandoned pastoral settlements and many small churches and chapels that bear testimony to life in this area in past times. In the magnificent nature of Punta Križa, you might encounter a herd of fallow deer with a little luck or be greeted by a flock of dolphins in the sea. From the nearby hill Vela Straža there is a panoramic view of the blue sea and the surrounding islands. The bay of Meli attracts with its irresistible beauty.
