Bay Čikat

In close proximity of Mali Lošinj is the bay of Čikat, which a long time ago has been recognized as an ideal vacation place, as evidenced by beautiful seaside summer houses and villas. Dense pine forests, sandy and pebble beaches along with the turquoise blue sea are an irresistibly invitation for relaxation and enjoyment. The sandy beach is ideal for families with children. Those seeking privacy and peace have several smaller pebble beaches at their disposal. Facilities in the bay include restaurants, bars, children's playgrounds, and the especially attractive Čikat aquapark. Several well-maintained promenades will take you through a lush forest. One of the bay’s major attractions is certainly the underwater historical park that lies at a depth of 5 to 15 meters and features replicas of Venetian cannons and ancient amphorae, as well as a replica of the ancient bronze statue "Apoxyomenos" from the 2nd-1st century B.C. The underwater park can be visited under the expert guidance of licensed divers and in the company of diving instructors.
