Island Ilovik, island Lošinj

The two islands Ilovik and Sv. Petar are located opposite the southern end of island Lošinj. Located next to each other, these islands have created a naturally protected channel that is a popular nautical anchorage in this area. The village Ilovik on the eponymous island has a port that is protected by the uninhabited island of Sv. Peter. Ilovik is connected with Mali Lošinj and Rijeka by ferry lines. The picturesque village is surrounded by unspoilt nature, aromatic herbs and the fragrant forest of holm oaks and pine trees. Stroll through the streets of Ilovik and enjoy the flower gardens that are nurtured by hardworking locals. Exotic eucalyptus, palm trees and oleanders in bloom give the place a special charm and irresistible beauty.

The hospitable hosts will accommodate you in their family houses, apartments and holiday homes and will be happy to offer you fruits and vegetables from their gardens, as well as fresh fish that they catch themselves. On the southeast side of the island lies the beautiful sandy beach Paržine, as created for families with children. Be sure to discover the beauty of the nearby bay Parknu. Those who want solitude and privacy will find their paradise in one of the many hidden coves that line Ilovik’s idyllic coast.
